Chart notes
TO THE FRONT chased inside then eased out leaving the turn, dueled to the lead mid-stretch and was steadily encouraged to hold off DAY THE MUSIC DIED through the stretch, while the latter gave chase and raced close off the rail on the turn, drifted nearing the head of the lane and was outfinished in a stretch long duel. PHONEMYPOSSEAGAIN rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn, was caught mid-stretch and flattened the final sixteenth. VICTORY CHIMES chased, raced at the rail on the turn and proved empty down the lane. UNION GRACE gave chase outside, raced in the five and six paths of the turn and had little left. SPOKANE EAGLE hesitated at the break, raced well back and rounded the turn about the three path. CASTLE FIVE chased the leaders through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the four and five paths then weakened.
