Chart notes
CANDY COVE, urged to the lead shifting off the rail racing into the first turn, disputed the pace on a narrow advantage inside a rival to the far turn, forged clear leaving the second bend and was kept to firm encouragement. LITTLE MAZZY settled last near the inside racing to the far turn, shifted out splitting foes four wide in upper stretch and continued with a steady effort to prevail for the place honors. MY COWBOY, caught four wide racing into the first turn, pulled his way to terms with the leader prompting that rival through the backstretch but steadily faded on the far turn while continuing well enough to prevail for a share. PRIZED WARRIOR tracked the leaders three wide between foes as part of the second flight racing to the far turn and faded into upper stretch. FOURTH DESIGN tracked the pace between foes in second flight and steadily faded nearing the lane. WHISTLE ME HOME tracked the pacesetter nearest the inside inside foes in second flight in the opening half but retreated racing into the far turn. GRIMGRINNIN' GHOST settled off the second flight outside a rival racing to the backstretch but dropped out early.
