PHASE OUT, reluctant to load prior to the start, sped to the lead while angling inside, dictated the pace on a narrow margin racing into the turn, maintained that advantage to upper stretch and kicked away in the closing stages under firm encouragement. RAASED tracked the leaders three wide in second flight racing to the turn, then continued with a steady effort in that path to edge a rival for the place honors late. EASY DAY broke sharply, angled inwards prompting a rival's pace through the backstretch, continued in pursuit of that foe to upper stretch but weakened late. CREATIVE CHOICE shifted inwards in the opening stages avoiding close quarters while crossing into the path of UP AND ONWARD, tracked the leaders between foes in second flight racing into the turn and continued evenly inside foes in the closing stages while being just outkicked for a share. ISLAND BOY, bumped soundly by RED BARI at the start, was settled between foes collecting his stride, then continued evenly three wide into the stretch while never gaining contention. UP AND ONWARD, caught in close quarters at the start, then forced inwards in the opening stages tracking the leaders in second flight, steadily faded racing into the turn. RED BARI broke outwards bumping ISLAND BOY at the start, then was steadied out of tight quarters early and soon dropped out. GOT FLOFFY proved no factor.
