Chart notes
SKYLER'S SCRAMJET disputed the pace three wide, got set down tor the drive home, saw the second place finisher closing in late, held sway. DIRECT ORDER took up the chase primarily from the two path during the initial stages, began to maneuver to the outside crossing the midway point of the turn, straightened away towards the five path when done, came home with belated energy down the center of the strip, fell short. WIN WITH PRIDE vied for command from path two, got shaken off proceeding down the stretch, stayed on the show. TALE OF MIST tracked the front runners from just off the rail, got roused springing from the five-sixteenths pole, cut the corner into the stretch, had no punch. VICAR'S LEGEND off the rail throughout, travelled four wide on the turn, came slightly wider into the lane, lacked the needed response. PLAYWRIGHT pursued the pace three wide on the turn, got sent out six wide for the drive, backed away. ORPHEUS (ARG) unhurried chasing the pace from path two during the opening phases, swung out four wide entering the top of the lane, made no impact. FRANKIE BARONE inched its way to the inside route coming up to the half mile pole, shifted out five to six wide for the drive, made no headway. HERO'S HOPE at a considerable distance from off the rail, raced five wide on the turn, wandered out towards path eight in the lane, having never gotten involved. O SHEA CAN U SEE along the inside route until the end of the bend, was never in it. COLTANDMISSISSIPPI saved ground to no avail.
