Chart notes
CLEVER EMMA broke alertly and went right to the front, set all the pace off the rail to the stretch then dug in determinedly to hold. MR. ARTISTIC stalked the winner to the turn, bid four wide to the stretch then was closing steadily but too late. LOOKIN FOR GOLD got outsprinted to the turn, was fanned five wide to the stretch and was gaining in the drive. LOCKWOOD pressed the winner three wide to the stretch then was outkicked to mid stretch and came up empty. FINE RED RESERVE got outsprinted early, raced two wide and advanced a bit, shifted back to the rail into the stretch but did not rally. THE SHYSTER had no speed, was three then four wide to the stretch but did not threaten in the drive. RUN IT TO WIN was outsprinted, saved ground on the turn but stopped in the stretch.
