Chart notes
WILD BERT unhurried in the early part, racing within striking distance, moved up on the outside around the turn, made a late bid, racing four wide and was going away at the end. BERTIE'S GALAXY raced within contention, came around the turn on the outside, made a bid, took the lead, but was no match late for the winner. SHANGROYAL dueled for the early lead, saved ground, raced close throughout, but proved third best. TAPIZARS SECRET pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn and lacked a late kick. SPEEDY FELLAR void of early speed and was never a factor. VERRAZANO FIRST vied for the early lead and faded.
