Chart notes
HAVE A LIL PEPPER set a pressured early pace, went four wide into the turn, took control at the quarter pole and edged clear for the win. HERZEN was unhurried early, raced six wide into the turn, was closing late and finished second best. HENNESSY'S SQUIRT was void of speed, advanced seven wide through the turn and was gaining late. MEET JOE tracked the early pace, went five wide into the turn, drifted out and was empty late. L D' RADO GOLDRUSH pressed the early pace, went three wide and tired. WINNIES OWN raced in mid pack early from between rivals and offered no rally. STARZAN was allowed to settle early, raced off the rail and was no factor. THE RIDE OF NUMBER SEVEN LOST THE WHIP IN EARLY STRETCH.
