Chart notes
ASTRO RIDER stalked the leaders while racing three-wide, responded when set down for the drive, moved between rivals late and was up in the closing yards. BOUNDTOBEGOOD steadied soon after the start, raced just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the second turn and finished willingly in the drive. G MAN was off a step slow and bumped, opened a clear lead before going a quarter, saved ground while setting the pace and gave way grudgingly late. MARU'S RAVEN raced unhurried early, raced three-wide through the second turn, angled out nearing the eighth pole, lacked racing room into the final yards. BYEBYE BYEBYE settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the second turn and failed to menace. SEIZE THE DAY lacked early speed, saved ground, remained inside for the drive, clipped heels in the closing yards and was taken up. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY CONCERNING THE CLIPPING HEELS OFSEIZE THE DAY IN THE FINAL YARDS AND AFTER REVIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE.
