Chart notes
HIGH ESTEEM set all the pace and held gamely in the drive to be clear under strong pressure. RUNAROUNDDANCING stalked the early pace, moved up three wide through the stretch and finished second best. BIG HEARTED FACTOR stalked early on, saved ground throughout and had not enough in the drive. PICADILLY ROADSTER raced up close early, moved up three wide past the eighth pole and had no response. MATRICULATE was unhurried early, raced four deep into the upper stretch and never was a factor. GIANT GAMBLE raced towards the inside throughout and never threatened. XAVIER DAVEY reared at the break, raced five wide into the upper stretch and never menaced.
