Chart notes
THE REIGN MAN tracked outside the early leaders, took over three wide near the five-sixteenths and moved in a path, and widened away from CAPTURED BY FATE through the last eighth of a mile. CAPTURED BY FATE hustled to the lead after the start, came under fire from two rivals entering the turn, could not match strides with THE REIGN MAN in upper stretch, drifted out late and saved the place. TOOK A CAB swung four wide approaching the stretch, finished evenly outside and was up for the show. CAPITAN FOFO had to tap on the brakes behind the leads midway on the turn, came under a ride near the five-sixteenths, stayed on his left lead in the stretch and was outfinished. STARSHIP TAXI pressed the early pace outside CAPTURED BY FATE, vied into the turn between the latter and THE REIGN MAN, and shifted out three wide weakening at the top of the lane. TAKESTWOTOWIGGLE angled to the rail early, and was outrun.
