Chart notes
G VICTORY sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and won under steady urging. COOL POWER pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, couldn't catch the winner, but held on for second. RACE CRAFT lacked early speed, made a late bid, finished willingly and missed getting up for second. SAMMY DANSEUR JR. raced within striking distance, made a mild bid, but was no factor. A STAR IS BORN NOW broke a step slow, steadied, getting in, improved position late, but was no threat. HONORARIAN pressed the early pace, saved ground around the final turn and faded. KINGSTON STREET void of early speed and was never close. DAVID'S GRACE lacked early speed and showed little. DESOTO'S WAR raced near the middle of the pack, came around the first turn wide and dropped back.
