Chart notes
CAPE MAY FERRY broke inward bumping rivals at the start, then showed good speed outside, dueled on the turn, gained a short lead in upper stretch and edged away, driving. HEY JABBER JAW was bumped hard at the start, chased between rivals early, stalked the dueling leaders on the turn, rallied three wide into the lane, dug in gamely outside in the stretch drive but second best. WEST FORK chased inside, raced inside on the turn, rallied mildly on the rail and finished well for third. WILL'S PIONEER away alertly, showed good early speed, dueled on the turn and weaken d in the lane. ASK CHUCK chased three wide and failed to rally. SMART ROYAL T was bumped hard at the start, raced off the pace inside and had no rally. BRIO MAN raced off the rail, off the pace and was outrun. HUYA raced off the pace, between rivals on the turn and tired. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection by the rider of SMART ROYAL T against the winner, CAPE MAY FERRY was disqualified and placed sixth for interference at the start.
