Chart notes
ARABIAN STORY was unhurried early, went four wide into the turn, angled to the inside, found room, was gaining, took control at the eighth pole and edged clear for the win. MR GOLD MAN was allowed to settle early, raced seven wide through the turn, was no match late and finished second best. LOUIS LE GRANDE tracked the early pace, raced six wide through the turn, wakened and held for third. THE METAL MAN was up close early, raced five wide and faded. CAUSE AND EFFECT was outrun early, went three wide and never fired. TOGRANPASHOUSEWEGO pressed the early pace, went four wide and gave way. MIDNIGHT LUCK was void of speed, circled eight wide and offered no late rally. ARIMONY broke in at the start, was rushed to set a pressured early pace, raced off the rail and tired.
