Chart notes
SORRISO set a clear early pace, raced four wide into the turn, drifted in, opened up and edged clear for the win. LODE THE GOLD chased the early pace, went six wide into the turn, was no match late and finished second best. SIX NINETY ONE was allowed to settle early, went three wide into the turn weakened and held third. JOE JACKSON was taken back early, raced seven wide through the turn and offered a mild late rally. FLY FIRST CLASS was reserved early, went five wide into the turn and never fired. SERMON BY THE SEA was unhurried early, raced between rivals and offered no late rally. ROMAN RUSH was outrun early from the inside and was no factor. SWAY ROAD was void of speed, went five wide into the turn, switched out in early stretch and offered some late gain. SON OF ELEANOR was not far back early, went four wide and faded.
