KNOWN QUANTITY settled inside, began a run into the far turn, came out two wide between horses midway on the bend, edged out in early stretch then closed outside for the late decision. SHANGHAISCHOOL chased two wide, moved to vie on the final turn, held a short lead into late stretch then gave way. CARGO SHIP moved to a clear lead along the inside on the first turn, remained in command to the stretch then faltered. NORTHERN THUNDER was close up between horses early, came out three wide on the final turn and lacked the needed closing. SNOOP steadied in tight along the rail early on the first turn, came out two wide on the final turn and was eased up suddenly in deep stretch. RON DON SCORESE stayed outside early and was finished after three-quarters.
