BOTSWANA TAPS was hustled from the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, was rated just off the pace, drafted in the two path on the far turn, bumped with a foe while shifting three wide into the stretch, made an outside bid near the furlong marker, swapped back to his inside lead outside the sixteenth-pole then back to the proper lead at that pole, fought with two foes to the wire and prevailed under strong urging. GOLD ACCOUNT went four then three wide on the first turn, contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, fought with two foes in the final sixteenth and missed while narrowly able to get the place. MAKE'N TRACKS checked in the early going, went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, went three then four wide while roused on the far turn, was driven six wide into upper stretch, rallied on the outside, closed well to make a bid nearing the sixteenth-pole, battled with the top two to the wire and just missed the place while far clear for the show. POCKET PLAYER brushed with a rival after the start, went three wide on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, chased three to four wide on the far turn, was bumped into the stretch and weakened. MAX PANDOWDY was taken back along the rail early then became rank through the first turn, raced near the back under restraint, was let out along the rail on the far turn and failed to respond. IADANZA brushed the outside of the gate at the start then brushed with a foe, contested the pace on the inside, was asked near the five-sixteenths, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and gave way.
