DECLARATIONOFSPEED stalked the pace while inside on the backstretch, rallied and moved out to be three wide in upper stretch, was in a strong drive and powered to the front in late stretch. GOLD VERMILION dueled for the lead from the inside, was in a long drive and gamely dug in but weakened in late stretch and held the place safe in the end. PURE COURAGE was checked off heels on the first turn then was settled, rallied three wide in the stretch and made a late gain in the end. CAPTAIN ZIGGY dueled for the lead while two wide, was in a long drive then weakened in late stretch. AMERICAN NIGHTMARE broke a step slow then was settled and failed to menace. CAPTAIN COMEBACK was allowed to settled while three wide on the backstretch then was no threat. ALIGNED INTEREST broke a little bit slow then was unhurried early and was no factor. LOW TIDE WARNING was through early while inside and stopped.
