Chart notes
U S S LOIS tracked the leader along the inside, made a quick moved take command around the far turn, raced along the inside in the drive and prevailed under all out pressure. PORSUMSUGARONME stalked the early pace, raced four wide in the stretch and closed in gamely late to just miss. MISS ORATORY was allowed to settle early, moved up four wide at the eighth pole and had not enough in the drive. SUDDEN LIGHT stalked the early pace, raced three wide around the far turn through the stretch and had no response. SHELL LOCKET was slow early and failed to respond. SWEATY BETTY raced in tight quarters at the break, moved up five wide at the eighth pole and never was a serious threat. ABLE CATCH was quick to begin to sprint clear and was empty the final eighth of a mile. VICTORY ROSE saved ground and never threatened.
