Chart notes
KING WAVE chased lone leader along the inside on the backstretch, continued to save ground on the turn, eased out two wide in the stretch, took aim on leader and drove past late. AWESOME PIRATE cleared rivals quickly on the backstretch, entered turn clear along the rail, entered stretch in the clear and held advantage into deep stretch where he was run down by outside rival in a game effort. LOVE AND HOLD chased leader two wide on the backstretch, entered turn two wide, had trouble cornering and took most the turn in the three path, entered stretch in the three path and kept on to be a clear third. ENTREZ NOUS settled in between rivals on the backstretch, entered turn two wide and failed to threaten while besting rest. GOLDEN TAIL settled off the pace three wide on the backstretch, failed to threaten in the stretch. BOLD EAGLE trailed throughout along the inside, and never threatened.
