Chart notes
ROBBER BARON was close up early, had to check along the first turn, stayed close to the lead while saving ground along the two path into the second turn, had to take up just before the drive, found running room in the stretch and kicked clear in the final stages. ON ICE stalked the early fractions while saving ground along the backstretch and second turn, took command entering the stretch but was not able to hold off ROBBER BARON while still second best. AFLEETING LIFE was off a bit slowly, was unhurried early while saving ground, advanced position along the turn, was a threat to mid stretch then got outrun. TWOBITSOFIRISH assumed early command while saving ground in the early stages, was confronted at the head of the stretch and had no late response. WILD WAGER settled early, traveled in the two path down the backstretch and into the second turn, and finished evenly. GOLD N GRAND settled early, gained position along the second turn, was three wide entering the stretch and had no late bid. STORMING WARRIOR sat just off of the early pace, was three wide along the second turn, lost position into the stretch and weakened late.
