Chart notes
EDINBURGH EXPRESS vied for the early lead while saving ground along the turn, dueled with SILVER MOON ROAD into the stretch and put away that rival in the final sixteenth. SILVER MOON ROAD advanced position along the turn while two wide, dueled with EDINBURGH EXPRESS into the stretch but was not able to get past. HEY MATE settled early, advanced position while three wide along the turn, chased the top two in the stretch and was outkicked late. SAWASDEE settled in the early stages, lost position while two wide along the turn, and had no late bid for the stretch. SPEEDY TOM was outrun early, jockey lost whip at 1/4 pole, saved ground at the rear of the field along the turn, and had no late rally for the stretch. BOLD VOYAGER was close early while saving ground, lost position along the turn and tired in the stretch drive.
