Chart notes
PRADO COLORS was well placed early, rallied at the quarter pole and gained a clear lead, remained well clear in mid stretch and just lasted late under firm handling. RIDING IN THE WIND was unhurried early, rallied in the stretch on the inside, closed with a rush and just missed. CAPTAIN RILEY raced mid pack early, rallied three wide in the stretch and finished willingly in a good effort. GRAND STRATEGY was never far back, rallied at the quarter pole with a strong move and drew close, then faltered in the stretch. KASAMOUNT dueled on the early lead and gradually gave way. IRON MEN OF METZ raced close up early and was through after a half. CHIEF BIG HEAD had no speed and was eased to the wire.
