Chart notes
GRIT'N'GRIND settled inside, advanced strongly on the final turn, angled out in the stretch then surged away through the final furlong. O'KRAM angled outside on the first turn, led before the half, widened on the final turn then came up empty in the stretch. MUCHO MACHO EDDIE hustled to the front inside, lost the advantage before the half, pursued then tired. THE ROBERT lagged far behind then closed the gap very wide while no threat. PAUL THE WAITER was well placed in the clear behind the dueling leaders but lacked a rally. LUXURY SUITE dropped back early and was never in contention.
