ROCKANDAHARDPLACE stalked the pace while inside, saved ground on the turn then rallied two wide in the stretch, was in a long drive and proved best in the end. ST. LOUIE GUY set the early pace while in a long drive, gamely dug in but hung in late stretch. ATOMIC CANDY chased the early pace while two wide, rallied then weakened in the stretch drive. ROCKO'S WHEEL stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, made a bid then faltered. DONTBEFOOLISH was allowed to settled while two wide on the backstretch then failed to menace.
