Chart notes
HAMMERIN AAMER prompted the leader from the outside three wide, came under coaxing nearing the five-sixteenths and took command just outside that station, spun three wide for home, dug in under a drive inching away to the finish kept to task. FRANKIE BARONE chased four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths and offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors in the late stages. BLUGRASCAT'S SMILE hustled from the gate, showed the way lightly coaxed just off the inside under some pressure from HAMMERIN AAMER to the outside, came under a drive near the five-sixteenths when headed for command, spun just off the inside for home, fought on to the sixteenth marker before weakening in the late stages. PLAYWRIGHT chased three then two wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch and made no headway. MILLS chased along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, swung three to four wide for home and offered no response. HERO'S HOPE broke in brushing the near side stall at the start, chased two to three wide under a ride from the three-eighths, went three wide into upper stretch and tired.
