Chart notes
TULANE TRYST bumped soundly with a rival at the start, settled under some urging, started the turn in the two path, moved to three then four wide later on that bend, rallied five wide into the stretch, closed strongly to get the lead inside the furlong marker and prevailed under strong handling. MR SIPPI was restless in the gate, bobbled slightly just after the start, was urged along on the outside, chased four wide on the turn, made a bid into the stretch then took the lead at the three-sixteenths, led under a drive into the final furlong but was overtaken while able to get the place. KOOLHAUS settled towards the rear, went two to three wide on the turn, was roused at the quarter-pole, moved out in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. CONTINENTAL COINS was hustled from the start, showed good speed then dropped just off the pace while rated, drafted in the two path on the turn, was asked inside the five-sixteenths, chased into upper stretch and lacked the needed kick. WILD FOR WYCLIFF pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole then was headed at the three-sixteenths, battled under a drive into the final furlong then weakened. RUSSIAN ALPHABET was last to commence, settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. BEDUIN FIGHTER bumped soundly with an opponent at the start, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the lead at the quarter-pole and tired. ABDAN was urged along on the outside, went five then six wide on the turn and failed to respond. FIND NEW ROADS settled on the inside of a rival, steadied near the seven-sixteenths, moved from three to five wide on the turn and capitulated.
