Chart notes
GYPSY WIND JEANNE was unhurried early on, moved up four wide through the lane and finished well to get up under strong handling. SYDNEY ELIZABETH pressed the pace from the outside, took command down the backstretch, led deep stretch but couldn't last. RUN'N DOWN A DREAM was slow early, moved up five wide through the stretch and closed belatedly. VIOLENT FIT dropped back early, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and had not enough. LILFEATHEREDINDIAN showed good speed from the inside and gave way. DIXIE CAT stalked the pace from the inside, raced three wide in the lane and had no late response. TSURUOKA failed to respond. DARLING GIRL pressed the pace and tired readily.
