Chart notes
STALLONE led the field from the rail through the opening half mile, opened up while saving ground around the far turn and finished well to hold the victory. ANTRIM'S GIANT saved ground around the first turn, stalked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the rail nearing the three eighths pole and chased the winner home, gaining ground late. CANDY STORE fought his rider while racing in close quarters in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, swung out to find racing room in upper stretch and gained ground late on the outside. LEMON BLITZ raced in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the far turn from the three path and finished evenly while proving to be no match for the top three. BAROQUE raced in the two path around the first turn, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and tired in the stretch. AMENDED raced in the three path around the first turn, trailed the field on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground around the second turn and never fired.
