Chart notes
SAY HEY KID always within striking distance, split rivals two wide midway on the second turn, matched stride into the stretch, made the lead when put to a left handed whip near the furlong marker and drew away late under strong handling. FRENCH ACCENT made the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace into the stretch then was no match for the winner. SLICK AS ICE close up from the start, offered a bid four wide on the far turn then came up empty. PIRATE'S TREASURE pressed the pace three then two wide into the far turn and weakened in the stretch. CLEANUP HITTER was no factor. SALT MINE prompted the pace two wide into the second turn and gave way in the stretch.
