Chart notes
BOURBON BRYCE set a pressured pace near the inner rail, bumped with LIFESPAN near the sixteenth pole and drove clear under strong handling. MR. SHADES OF GRAY hugged the inner rail in upper stretch, was caught in tight quarters in mid stretch, altered course to the three path near the sixteenths pole and rallied gamely. LIFESPAN advanced three deep leaving the turn, bid for the lead outside BOURBON BRYCE in upper stretch, bumped with that one near the sixteenth pole and weakened late. DAY OF HONOR , in the two path on the turn, angled to the five path in upper stretch and failed to threaten. TRANSFER THE FUNDS lacked speed, swung outside for the drive and passed a couple of tired foes. COSA MAS LINDA , no factor, raced along the inner rail on the turn. MALIBU HEAVEN prompted the pace outside the winner around the turn and gave way in upper stretch.
