Chart notes
GEORGIA DAWN raced within contention, moved up on the outside around the second turn and was going away at the end. SWEET MILAGROS lacked early speed, made a steady gain, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. DIXIE LOVING raced near the back in the beginning, came around the final turn wide, made a late gain and proved no match for the top two. EBONY BAY raced within striking distance, made a mild bid, but was no factor. SHREW GRIT broke out, challenged for the early lead and weakened. RHETT'S RACER raced near the middle of the field, had an outside trip, made a mild bid and faded. ENVOY'S GUILT challenged for the early lead and was finished early. CAUGHT HIS EYE dueled for the early lead, faded around the second turn and was no threat late. SHILOH COUNTY always raced near the back and showed little.
