Chart notes
FLICKERING LIGHT was away alertly, set a clear early pace, raced off the rail through both turns, opened up, drifted out and held for the win. IRISH CHARLIE was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside into the home turn, angled out in early stretch, was gaining late and finished second best. YHA YHA was outrun early, saved ground through the home turn and offered a mild late rally. DIIACHI was unhurried early, raced between rivals out of the home turn and finished belatedly. POINT OF IMPACT was void of any early speed, raced along the inside into the home turn and finished evenly late. SMILING MATT was taken back early, raced six wide into the second turn and never fired. JAMASON followed the early pace, raced three wide into the second turn, angled out and was no factor. HAVASU CAUTION raced in mid pack early, went four wide into the second turn and gave way.
