Chart notes
COACH DAN stalked along the inside, tipped off of the rail around the turn before gaining three wide turning for home, bid outside of the drifting PUNCH EM in midstretch, then got up under a long drive seventy yards out. PUNCH EM set the pace three to two wide, cleared with five sixteenths to go with COACH DAN in pursuit, but hung on his left lead the lane, drifted in at the furlong marker, and was bested by that foe in the final sixteenth. CANDY BARON lied off of the pace while taking the turn in the four to five path, then stayed on through the lane. E Z TAPIT was off slowly and trailed early on, improved along the inside around the turn, shifted two wide at the quarter pole, and failed to menace. BUGGER RED lied forwardly placed four wide, but got rank from rider restraint into the turn, then failed to factor. STAY MY FAYVORITE vied along the inside, but gave way with five sixteenths to go, and faded. THE QUARTER MILE FRACTION IS UNAVAILABLE.
