Chart notes
AMERICAN FLEET forced the pace outside, took over when ready at the quarter pole then quickly drew away under mild urging. WHAT THE FLASH settled off the pace, advance near the inside while no match for the winner. POLPIS well placed outside, rallied on the final turn then flattened out. BATTLE OF THE NILE lacked speed wide and continued well while no threat. AMERICAN CHESTNUT hustled to the front inside and was finished after three quarters. FOXBOROUGH chased close up inside for five furlongs and gave way. SIR LENNY dropped back at the start and trailed throughout.
