Chart notes
HERE COMES MAGIC unhurried in the beginning, moved up around the second turn, came in at the head of the stretch and drove clear before the wire. CRIMSON STORM raced within contention, made a bid around the final turn, took the lead, steadied at the head of the stretch, angled out and was a clear second at the wire. R T'S DUDE lacked early speed, raced wide around the final turn, gained ground and got up for third. JUSTA SWINGING broke slow, racing in the back, moved up, pressed the pace and faded. RED MAMBA dueled on the front end, saved ground and was finished early. BALKY was an early factor, raced four wide around the first turn and faded. APACHE UNBRIDLED always raced near the back and showed little. CITATION BILL showed early speed and tired around the final turn.'. THE JOCKEY OF #5 CRIMSON STORM LODGED A CLAIM OF AGAINST #7 HERE COMES MAGIC FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE HEAD OF THE STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
