Chart notes
SENSE OF MUSIC gave chase and raced in the six and seven paths of the turn, then dug in from the top of the stretch to get up the final jump. FOOTBALL MOM chased the pace, was carried to the five path nearing the top of the stretch, took the lead past the eighth pole and raced briefly clear late, but was nipped under the wire. RAVIOLI MAMA gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths, lugged in through the lane and finished evenly in third. FRIENDLY FAIRBANKS came away sharply and surged to a clear early lead, was urged along near the rail on the turn, drifted toward the head of the lane and was caught past the eighth pole, then flattened stride the final sixteenth. MISS OREILEY became a bit edgy in the gate then gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the three path of the turn, was forced to the five path leaving the turn and weakened. GYPSY'S IMAGE bobbled at the break and raced well back.
