BITSY'S CUSTOM C moved out outside the half-mile pole, ranged up three to four wide on the turn, made a bid into the stretch then drifted in a bit, drifted out under a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths, dueled outside of the runner-up into the final sixteenth then moved clear late under strong handling. FLUFFPOINT broke in at the start, showed good speed and set the pace, raced inside on the turn, was asked under threat at the quarter-pole, dueled with the winner into the final sixteenth then was outfinished while well clear for the place. GRAND PRIORITY was carried in at the start, raced near the back under urging, went three wide on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and was along for the show. CANDY SHOPPER bumped hard with a rival at the start, was ridden along off the pace, moved in near the half-mile pole, went three wide on the turn, was driven four wide into the stretch and failed to rally. BENBOW CAT broke open the front of his stall door prior to the start but remained in the gate, came away in good order, chased the pace on the outside, went two to three wide on the turn and capitulated. MIGHTY ABLE moved in while off the pace nearing the half-mile pole, saved ground on the turn and failed to respond. BRAD EYE was urged along off the pace, went four wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch then moved further out and also failed to respond. SINGASONGSAM bumped hard with a foe at the start, was urged along on the outside, went five wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and had nothing left. APACHE TEARS brushed the outside of the gate at the start while off slow, had the rider lose his outside iron for the opening sixteenth before regaining footing, went six wide on the turn then came seven wide into the stretch, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and never reached contention.
