Chart notes

SUMMER PALACE was forced in early then bumped with a rival, went four then three wide on the first turn, settled comfortably on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, rallied to the lead outside the three-sixteenths then kicked clear and drew away under steady urging. SHARP ROCKET went three wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was roused three wide on the far turn, lugged inward inside the three-sixteenths then was corrected by the rider and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. AWESUMMER angled in quickly after the start and bothered several foes while making a beeline to the rail, set the pace on the inside, was roused at the quarter-pole then lost the advantage outside the three-sixteenths and weakened but was clear for the show. AMES MISTER was bumped early and forced in, saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, went three then four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. ANICLUDE was bumped hard early, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, dropped back while inside on the far turn and failed to respond. HALF COCKED saved ground on the first turn, settled towards the rear, moved from the rail to the three path on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. F J'S GEM went three wide on the first turn, settled towards the back, went three then four wide on the far turn, came six wide into the stretch and was no factor. WHITE MIST was bumped hard early and forced strongly into another foe, raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, lugged out leaving the backstretch, came up empty in the four path on the far turn and faltered.
