Chart notes
WAR GAMES assumed command of the early pace from a ground saving position, continued to save ground off of the turn, was roused in the stretch and held on for the win. R M C HOOK'EM stalked the early pace from a two wide running position, continued to apply pressure on WAR GAMES in the drive but could not get by in the final stages. NIGHT GIG chased the early leaders, three wide on turn, ran evenly in the stretch and could not challenge the top two late. SHOULD BE ILLEGAL was unhurried early,settling toward the rear of the field, was four wide on the turn, and had no late response in the stretch. EXHORTATION settled midpack early, saved ground along the turn and had no rally in the stretch. I'M A COOL DUDE saved ground through the backstretch and turn, and had no late rally.
