BANKIT six paths off the inside down the backstretch in closest aim of the leader, went four wide through the turn patiently handled until set down spinning five wide into upper stretch, took over command at the three-sixteenths, dug in under threat and was caught in the final strides to the finish. SOUTH AFRICA broke in at the start and was corrected, showed the way in hand four paths off the rail, tucked to to the two path through the turn and came under threat put to coaxing five-sixteenths from home, swung four wide into upper stretch, yielded the front with three-sixteenths remaining and weakened in the late stages. MICROSCOPE broke in at the start, chased three then two wide under coaxing from the half mile pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened.
