ROCK N JUNE BUG broke outward, dueled outside of FADING SCARS down the backstretch and into the turn, edged past that foe from the seven sixteenths, went to a drive near the three sixteenths, and remained well clear while drifting out. IMPERIAL TEMPLE settled in second last, began to take closer order between horses on the turn, swung out and was driven in the six path for the stretch run, sustained her bid, and go up for the place late. IRISH TUFF was carried out mildly in the opening strides, tracked the leading pair down the backstretch, continued to track in the three to four path on the turn, proved no match for ROCK N JUNE BUG when driven in upper stretch, continued to chase willingly under a drive but lost place late. SKY JUDGE settled at the inside of the chasing flight, saved ground through the turn, shifted four wide approaching midstretch and improved position under vigorous hand urging, altered inward and ran evenly late. HE'S RECKLESS chased three wide toward the rear, was driven past the five sixteenths while still racing three wide, swung out further into the lane and passed tiring horses in the seven path. FADING SCARS dueled inside of ROCK N JUNE BUG down the backstretch and into the turn, was no match for that foe from the seven sixteenths, tracked while saving ground the rest of the bend, was driven inside of IRISH TUFF in upper stretch, and emptied out in the final furlong. DOES NOT STOP tossed his head at the start, hit the gate while breaking slowly, settled at the rear, trailed while saving ground through the turn, went to a drive inside in upper stretch, but lacked the needed rally. FRONTIER CHARLIE tossed his head at the break and came away slowly, was keen to rejoin the field, pulled to midpack by the time the field hit the half mile mark, chased in the four path on the turn, came four wide into upper stretch and emptied out.
