BARONESS VONTRAPPE was reserved early, raced along the inside, angled out through the home turn, was gaining, through the turn, took control at the eighth pole and held for the win. WISE RACHEL was allowed to settle early, advanced three wide through the second turn, was closing, drifted in stretch and finished second best. FLYING TO THE LINE set a brisk early pressured pace, raced along the inside into the home turn and weakened late stretch. SMART SET pressed a very fast pace, went three wide into the second turn, drifted out late and faded. MIDNIGHT FLOWER was void of any speed and was always outrun.
