Chart notes
GEHRIG dueled early, shook clear on the turn, remained clear in the lane under confident handling. TIZWAY'S WILD SON raced mid pack early, rallied, in the stretch three wide and closed well to be second best. GOLD SHARK had good position throughout and went evenly late. BOWMAN raced mid pack and was no threat. DOCTOR LEE raced mid pack and had an even effort. RAPID ROUGE dueled early and faded in mid stretch. JOHNNY CAB was no factor. GOOD ON YA broke in air and lost his rider and walked off. The stewards posted the inquiry sign but took no action.
