Chart notes
MAXIMIZER was away alertly and quickly made the lead, was well handled on the front end, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and prevailed. STRIKE APPEAL had good position early, rallied at the quarter pole and drew close, finished willingly but could not get past the winner. DOUBLE THE LAUGH was well placed and saved ground, finished willingly on the rail and closed a gap. GOING WITH STYLE was unhurried early, swung four wide in the stretch and rallied late. SKY WRITER contended throughout and needed more late. MORE THAN GOOD allowed to settle, failed to menace. INDIAN FEVER had good position early and was through after a half. SILVER G T O was outrun.
