Chart notes
RED DAHLIA was three wide on the first turn, settled toward the back of the field on the backstretch while running widest of the field, began gaining position on the second turn while three wide, dueled with RUNNIN DIVA in the stretch and kicked clear of the foe to win. RUNNIN DIVA was four wide on the first turn while chasing the pace through the backstretch, vied for the lead while saving ground two wide on the turn, took the lead in the stretch, dueled with RED DAHLIA and was passed by that foe but was still second best. SHARMEL settled midpack early, saved ground through the backstretch and second turn run, was urged in the stretch but could not muster a late kick in the drive, while still an easy third. HEAT SEEKING LETA was unhurried early, three wide on backstretch and into second turn, advanced position into the stretch but could not sustain that bid in the drive. PERFECT EDITION set fractions while saving ground, began to lose position on the second turn and was empty for the stretch drive.
