Chart notes
CASTLE OF CAYLEE stalked off the rail, bid nearing the seven sixteenths pole and drew to even terms past the quarter pole, took the nod at the eighth pole and dug in under steady encouragement to move clear later yards. YOU CANT CATCH HER rated the pace inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole and was met at the rail leaving the quarter, gave up the nod a furlong away but continued close through the upper stretch before flattening stride. MABEL settled off the pace about the three path, started a bid approaching the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn still about the three path, finished well and was gaining on the early pace-setter. DUDES PICK settled back from the early pace two deep, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the four path of the far turn and finished evenly. WHOA BLACK BETTY broke a bit awkwardly and rounded the opening turn in the four path, left the turn outside and bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then flattened out. SO RED THE ROSE saved ground early on, bid approaching the three eighths pole but showed little response through the backstretch.
