Chart notes
MUSKET POWDER set a pressured early pace, went four wide through both turns, spurted clear in early stretch and held for the win. CHIEFTAIN'S LAD pressed the early pace, raced five wide into the second turn, lost ground through the turn, re-rallied late and just missed. POINT OF IMPACT was allowed to settle early, went three wide into the second turn, finished evenly late and was along for third. PRAISE LOUDLY tracked the early pace, went six wide through the second turn and finished belatedly. ESTEEMED was outrun early, raced seven wide into the second turn and never fired. STANLEY RYDER raced in mid pack early, raced between rivals into the home turn and faded. RUNNING FOR GUS was void of speed, went eight wide into the second turn and was no factor. THE RIDER OF NUMBER SEVEN LOST HIS WHIP IN EARLY STRETCH.
