RUNABOUT four then three wide in pursuit, got let out spinning four to five wide into upper stretch, took command at the three-sixteenths, dug in under threat brushing with his main danger just inside the sixteenth marker and was caught in the last strides to the finish while well clear of the rest. GRIT AND GLORY prompted the leader from the outside five then four wide before tucking to the three path at the nine-sixteenths, tucked to the two path through the turn advancing to take command five-sixteenths from home, spun three wide into upper stretch, yielded the front at the three-sixteenths and weakened in the late stages. ROAMING UNION coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside under some pressure through the presence of GRIT AND GLORY to the outside, tucked inside half a mile from home, got collared at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the late going. KING OF AMERICAN coaxed from the start, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch before angling in to the two path into the turn, came under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, swung four wide for home and weakened. ALLURED lunged at the start conceding three lengths to the front, chased five then four wide coaxed along from the three-eighths, bid five wide into upper stretch and tired.
