Chart notes
BETTOR TRIP NICK broke alertly, set fractions while saving ground, continued to save ground off of the turn and was pressured late by BAJA SUR but dug in and held on for the win. BAJA SUR stalked the early pace from a two wide running position, made a steady run in the drive to close the margin on BETTOR TRIP NICK but could not reel that one in late. MANHATTAN UP settled at the back of the field early, saved ground while two wide on the turn, was asked for run in the stretch and made a late bid for third. HOT ENCOUNTER chased the early pace, was three wide on the turn, swung four wide for the drive and had no late response.
