Chart notes
ABSALOM came in to make contact with Golden Appeal leaving the gate then stalked two deep, challenged leaving the three eighths pole and took the lead at the five sixteenths, raced clear past the quarter, dug in under steady stretch encouragement and held on well. MARTIN MAN came out to make contact with Rollin leaving the gate then saved early ground, eased out into the backstretch and bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn about the four path and proved no match down the lane. GOLDEN APPEAL came away a bit rank and was squeezed early, settled off the pace about the three path the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and ran in the three path of the far turn, then weakened. SIENTE EL VIENTO was jostled early and raced off the pace in the three path, picked up the chase into the backstretch, came through the far turn near the rail, angled to the five path approaching the top of the stretch and passed a rival. BOLD VALOR came out at the break then took the lead and rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole, was caught at the five sixteenths, dropped back at the rail past the quarter and weakened. ROLLIN was bumped then pinched back at the start, showed no response through the backstretch and was eased the final quarter.
